Welcome to Sun River Horse & Cattle Company, Inc.. We train and raise super performance cow horses as show cutting horses, rodeo horse prospects, and outstanding ranch work horses. We can do this better than our competition because we also run over 800 cattle annually on our ranch and leases near Great Falls, Montana. We use these horses at various stages in their training to work the cattle, gather, doctor and then we work them in the arena.
Our motto is, "If you've got a real cowboy job to do and need a hero of a horse to do it...we can fully outfit your needs."
Todd is a NCHA judge, is on the MCHA Board of Directors, and has NCHA LTE $130,000. He trains and shows cutting horses in various levels from futurity to open.
We live on the famous fertile Fairfield Bench where the best hay in the world is produced. There are hay fields, buttes, rolling hills, and ample water in the form of natural springs, creeks, bogs, and coulees throughout the landscape. There is a perfect view of the amazing Charlie Russell Butte and the Rocky Mountain Front to the West. You are invited to visit, and we hope you will!
